Make-today-a-great-day

I had been chasing someone for weeks in vain. I would make an appointment but every time I went to his office he would have already left or he would be in another meeting. His employees impressed on me how difficult it was to get him to keep an appointment. I also started feeling that all my trips to his office were in vain until it became apparent to me that I was sabotaging my efforts based on what other people had made me believe.

I woke up one morning and decided that that day would be the day I finally met up with him.  This time when I got to the office, instead of first going through the assistants I just went straight, knocked on his door and viola there he was.

When I exited that office with a winner’s smile on my face, I realized that my previous failure wasn’t because he was a difficult person but I wanted the situation to drag on and be difficult for me.

Many of us get out of our way to make our lives hard by seeking out tough situations. We double guess and doubt our effort hence sabotage the results. If you want an easier life filled with fulfillment and joy make it a daily habit to determine every event in your life in advance through your thoughts. Set the universe forces ahead of you in everything you do and everywhere you go by thinking the way you want things to go in advance.

When you wake up in the morning say to yourself; I am going to have a great day, great week. By this confession, you are literally sending elements and forces ahead of you to arrange everything to your liking. But if you wake up and the first thing you think of is how difficult the day might be, you send fearful and bad vibes ahead of you that make sure you have the unpleasant day you were afraid of.

One of the things that we do which creates negative vibes is rushing. Rushing is an action based in fear; fear of being late, fear of the traffic jam, fear of long queues etc.

As you continue to ‘chase time’ you will attract more bad energy which will attract more things to delay you the more. Whenever you find yourself in a rush, make a conscious choice to get off that frequency and deliberately slow down.

If for instance you are caught up in a jam that makes you suicidal, instead of huffing and puffing and worrying, get out your diary and update your schedule. Or catch up with those text messages from friends and relatives that have gone unanswered for days. This way you utilize the time positively and save yourself from acquiring another ulcer.

By deliberately slowing down and occupying your time positively, you think lighter and positive thoughts which in turn release positive vibrations.
