For He Has Not Given Us The Spirit Of Fear

Today begins a new week a fresh start to do and to be whatever you want. So, rather than focusing on what could go wrong, imagine what could go right and then put your energy, passion and desire behind that. The bible cautions us against fear and encourages us to pray whenever we feel afraid; Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7).
Everyone once in a while feels fear about the past, the future or the present. It’s important to acknowledge fear when it is present, feel it and discover where it comes from, and then move on. Don’t let fear limit what you have to offer the world. In Isaiah 54:4 God says; Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood.
I have found that the most effective way to fight fear is to remember that I am saved, loved, and protected by a loving father. When you find yourself on your knees, then it is time to handover whatever is troubling you to God. Then when you do, sit back and be a witness to God moving in your life, shaping, shifting, and molding every bit of your life. Witness His power transform, purify and rectify any signs of destruction in yourself and in the world immediately around you.
See what you thought you could not do get gone done with grace and ease. Unencumbered by fear, worry and anxiety you will be able to utilize your gifts and skills and be a blessing to the world.
This week, make a conscious choice to banish fear from your life and be a witness to the glory of God.
Have a blessed month.
